Katie began her clinical work at UNC Chapel Hill's Kidney and Liver Transplant Unit. She has worked at the VA hospital in Durham and is the former Intake Director at Carolina House eating disorder facility. In 2018, she was named Indy Week Magazine's Best Therapist in the Triangle.
ABOUT KATIE
Katie is originally from the Washington DC area and has been practicing in the Triangle for 7 years. She utilizes evidence based practices including person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Katie is also a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).
